Lo Storer - Founder, Director
It all started when Lo
…experienced the transformative power of vulnerability during her 300 Hour Yoga Teacher Training. Sharing her own journey healing from trauma felt terrifying at first, but with time, the process of storytelling become both therapeutic and liberating. To her surprise, rather than receiving judgement, her story was met with unconditional love and support. The process provided her with a deeper connection to herself and a newfound sense of community.
From this work came the spark of a powerful idea. What if she could create a platform to hold space for others to share? What if she could create a supportive community to help others own and release what once was and make space for what could be?
This idea become her work and mission.
From a single photoshoot in a home studio, Beings Of Yoga has grown into a nationwide tour. We continue to evolve while still staying true to our mission of promoting yoga as a safe space for transformation and healing, especially for individuals living with mental illness.

Laura Birdsall - Scheduling Assistant
Laura first experienced the power of vulnerability while watching a TED talk by Brene Brown. She soon learned that sharing personal stories with purpose and discernment is both healing and connective. When paired with the transformational practice of yoga, sharing our stories is an opportunity to be our most authentic selves, and to hold space for our own hearts as well as others.
